MAN/Neoplan Omni 2.0 by Fromme in collaboration with Gebler and Massegg

The goal was to create a coach, and an experience, in which disabled people feel equal to other passengers and or not treated specially. Therefore designers created a bus with a first and an economy class. The first class provides enough space, guidance for blind and wheelchair places. Handicapped people can move around easily in the bus, enter the bus just like all other passengers, and are independent to the help of others.

Designers: Philipp Fromme, Jenny Gebler (interior), Marian Massegg (cockpit)

The needs of handicapped people require a new entrance which is located between the front wheels. This pushes the driver to the upper level, creating a new architecture for the coach as shown above.
